about me

let's get to know each other

I don’t just photograph horses—I turn them into art. Every image is a tribute to their raw power, quiet magic, and untamed spirit. My goal? To create stunning, soul-stirring visuals that capture the freedom, connection, and wild beauty of these incredible animals. Art that ignites imagination, invites adventure, and leaves a lasting impression.
I’m obsessed with your horse.

Welcome, I'm Dana

Horse inspired

I’m a Utah-based equine photographer, dedicated to creating dreamy, gallery-worthy art that embodies the true essence of the horse. Through my signature posing techniques, a keen eye for detail, and an ability to capture the profound bond between horse and rider, I specialize in bringing the untamed spirit and natural beauty of horses to life.

I transform fleeting moments into timeless pieces that honor their freedom and individuality. For equestrians, horse lovers, and businesses who cherish beauty and meaning, your horse imagery should do more than simply document—it should elevate your space and brand.

When I was seven years old, I asked for the same thing every Christmas: a horse. Every year, my parents gave me the same answer—*you’ll never have a horse, so you might as well stop asking.* Eventually, after years of pleading and dreaming, I gave up. For more than 20 years, I tucked that dream away, convincing myself that some things just aren’t meant to be.
But the truth is, dreams have a way of finding their way back to us. I have to give my sister credit—her love for horses never faded. Her ongoing involvement with them over the years kept that spark alive in me, even when I didn’t realize it. And when I finally picked up a camera, and went through a long exploration phase, I knew exactly what I wanted to capture: horses.

My story

Forgotten dreams

My Why

I became an equine photographer not because I grew up with horses, but because I didn’t. I wanted to create beautiful, soulful art so others could experience the same sense of wonder I felt as a child—enchanted by their grace, freedom, and strength. Horses represent everything I value: connection, peace, power, and untamed beauty. They ignite the imagination and stir a sense of adventure.

My “why” runs deeper than just taking pretty pictures. It’s about building a life filled with meaningful connections, personal growth, and beauty. Through photography, I create space for others to connect with these majestic animals, to feel their energy, and to experience a kind of freedom we all long for.

I’m not an equestrian—*yet*—but it’s on my list. For now, I’m honored to be around my clients’ horses and the wild ones I meet in my travels. This journey has become about more than horses. It’s about breaking through limitations, embracing passion, and living a life of joy, contribution, and purpose.
